I then added a splash of patina blue using acid oxidized copper paint that outlines the shape of the heart

I traced out the design in pencil over the map then painted all the colors at the same time using a wet on wet technique that allowed the colors to mix and blend

Nine Trees (canvas wrap) birch I then added a splashThe original Nine Trees was inspired by seeing the super moon illuminating the trees against the night sky. Acrylic washes were used for the background of the sky and the moon. The ground was textured heavily on the original with trowelled plaster before many layers of acrylic paints were applied.
